Right of withdrawal
Statutory withdrawal instructions and the model form, as required by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
Last updated 30 August 2026
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in several parts, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us — XVI Jewellery — Jacky Schikowski (sole proprietor), 44 avenue du 3 Septembre, 06320 Cap-d'Ail, France, email hello@xvi-jewels.com — of your decision by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever is earliest.
We will use the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result. You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, and returns must be insured for the full value. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the item.
3. Exceptions
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your individual specification or clearly personalised (Art. 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU). Because our bracelets are configured and produced individually, we nevertheless grant a voluntary 14-day return for pieces in unworn, resaleable condition, complete with certificate and packaging — except where a piece has been engraved or built to a non-standard length.
For consultations, the right of withdrawal ends once the session has taken place, where you have expressly requested that it begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged the loss of that right.
4. Model withdrawal form
