1. Seller

XVI Jewellery — Jacky Brown (sole trader), [Street and number], [Postcode] [City], France. Email: hello@xvi-jewels.com. VAT: [VAT / TVA number]. Registration: [Company / SIRET number].

2. Contract

Product listings are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after successful payment. The contract language is English.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include statutory VAT where applicable. Any shipping costs and, for deliveries outside the EU, import duties and taxes are shown or stated separately and are payable by the customer. Payment is processed by Stripe using the methods shown at checkout. Discount codes are valid only for the period, products and recipients stated when the code is issued, cannot be combined, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Made to order

Each bracelet is configured to your specification (diamond origin, carat weight, gold purity and colour, and length) and produced individually. Production and delivery typically take 20–25 working days unless stated otherwise on the product page. Natural stones vary slightly in colour and inclusion pattern; small deviations from photographs are inherent to the material and are not a defect.

5. Delivery

Pieces are shipped insured and require a signature. Risk passes to you on delivery. Delivery dates are estimates; where a delay is significant we will contact you and you may cancel and receive a full refund.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise it, send a clear statement to hello@xvi-jewels.com. Return the item unworn, undamaged and complete with its certificate and packaging within 14 days of notifying us; you bear the cost of return shipping and it must be insured. We refund within 14 days of receiving the return, using the original payment method.

Exception: the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your individual specification or clearly personalised (Art. 16(c) Consumer Rights Directive). Because our bracelets are configured and produced individually, we nevertheless grant a voluntary 14-day return for items in unworn, resaleable condition, except where the piece has been engraved or built to a non-standard length.

For the consultation service, the right of withdrawal ends once the session has taken place with your prior express consent.

7. Warranty and care

Statutory conformity rights apply (two years in the EU). They do not cover normal wear, damage from misuse, accident or unauthorised repair. Have your clasp and settings checked periodically and store the piece separately from other jewellery.

8. Consultations

The consultation fee secures a 30-minute private session by video call. Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. The fee is credited in full against a subsequent ring commission. Advice given is a professional opinion, not a valuation or an appraisal for insurance purposes.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory statutory provisions. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

10. Disputes and applicable law

The law of France applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and are not willing, to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
